A curved rail stairlift can be fitted on a variety of staircase types, ranging from fan, stairs with a landing in between and of those with a turn.

These stairlifts are generally more expensive due to the fact they are designed for a particular staircase. Unfortunately this also means the rail in general cannot be sold on afterwards unless the staircases are identical.
