I have been a Stairlift engineer since 1994. I carry with me my hard earned qualifications and proof of my stairlift origins. I am a time served stairlift engineer with qualifications that can only be gained by working within the industry a number of years. As of 2022 that is now 28 years.
My numbers are not randomly made up to look impressive on the internet.
Safety of customers is paramount which is why I have the necessary qualifications in order to carry out the work in a safe manner.
I am the only Stairlift engineer living and working in Cork with NVQ2 qualifications. A standard within the Stairlift industry.
I also possess LEIA STAIRLIFT TECHNOLOGY CERTIFICATE - The only stairlift engineer in Ireland to hold this certificate.

I started my career in the Stairlift sector over 28 years ago and the one thing I am aware of, is the needs of the customer and what they value.
The majority of the work is for elderly and vulnerable persons, and most important to them, is to have trust in a visitor to their home.
Prior to upWARDs Lifts, I had the pleasure of working for Stannah UK, the market leader in Stairlifts for 9 years. I am fully compliant with all makes and models of Stairlift.
Since the departure of Stannah Ireland in 2014, I am the engineer that was chosen to undertake the servicing and repairs of their lifts that are under contract throughout Munster. Stannah Stairlifts are still available to be purchased in Ireland.
I have faith in my ability and take great pride in my work. This was the reason I named my company, after my own surname.
An original logo that I designed personally, is steps/stairs with a "W" for Ward, which also doubles as a side view of a Stairlift.
